What is MCaaS
Module Cleaning as a Service (MCaaS) is a zero-capex model where robotic solar cleaning is delivered as a service instead of the plant owner purchasing or managing the robots. Aegeus-certified partners carry out fully waterless, automated cleaning, and the customer simply pays per panel cleaned — no equipment ownership, no spares, no labour dependency.
Why MCaaS
Traditional water cleaning is slow, expensive, and highly dependent on manpower and tanker logistics. A single utility-scale plant can consume thousands of litres of water per wash while still delivering inconsistent cleaning quality. Cleaning frequency is driven by labour availability, not plant needs, which leads to continuous PR loss and revenue loss.
Robotic cleaning eliminates this problem. It is faster, repeatable, and does not require water, hoses, pumps, or cleaning teams. MCaaS makes this model accessible without capex, shifting cleaning from a high-maintenance, high-OPEX activity to a predictable, automated service delivered on schedule.
